Meet, “Beau” 2006 Registered Buckskin Overo Paint Gelding. This handsome Hancock bred gelding stands 15.1hh and weighs in around 1150lbs+. Don’t let his age fool you, with age comes experience – this gelding is no stranger to hard work. Been on many trail rides in his days, made numerous trips to the mountains including some overnight hunting trips in his past. This gelding also rides good in an indoor/outdoor arena setting prefers to be with a mate but also rides well alone. Beau remains relatively low on the herd hierarchy and excels in a smaller intimate paddock setting. This gelding comes from the MORRIS MONIAS PERFORMANCE HORSES string. If you knew the MONIAS Horses this is your guy – originally sold to Canada in the 2013 Ponoka sale. This gelding would be best suited for an advanced beginner or intermediate rider (youth or adult). Gelding comes equipped with most standard cues and maneuvers, works well direct rein or neck rein and has smooth gaits walk, trot, and lope. Since I have had the gelding (mid Aug) I have seen no signs of buck, bolt, rear or any other recognized vices. This gelding would make a great addition to any horse family.
